Yet another model I bought, a  glassblower's piece of art: All components, including the valve balls, are made of glass. 

On one side of the U-shaped tube, the water column acts as displacer piston, on the other as power piston. The pressure fluctuations operate the attached pump, which continuosly circulates water from a container and back.
