After I had measured and delineated all parts of the Falk engine during its
repairing, it was only a matter of time until I started building this half-scaled model. Instead of
using cast iron parts for the base, I made by bending and hard-soldering several
thin plates, with the other mountings being made of aluminium by milling. The
power cylinder consists of a piece of a telescopic antenna tube which is
hard-soldered to the displacer cylinder together with the connection tube. The
engine starts without problems, but it gets relativly hot because of its
horizontal mounting, as the annealing colours of the upper part of the chassis
show.
